Welcome to Care Africa Organization

We are an independent registered Community Based Oraganisation and nonprofit civil society organization based in Kabuuma – Makindye Ssabagabo Division Wakiso District. CAO prime motto is knowledge support, skills development, capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized people of the society.

The mission of CAO is to contribute to the education and skills development of young people and women through a value system based, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society

Objectives of the Organization

CAO works with disadvantaged and vulnerable poor people. Extreme poverty and illiteracy are the social barriers that dominate the lives of people in the community. The organization is committed to make its program socially and economical sustainable using innovative ideas and participation of people in the community. It believes and is actually involved in promoting human dignity, children’s rights, gender equity, and human rights. Its objectives are to foster qualitative and quantitative improvement in the lives of the disadvantaged people through skills development, economic empowerment and, contribute to alleviation of poverty.
To support children and youth attain education and hands on skills training for self-reliance.
Empower and transform the lives of people in communities through information, knowledge and skills development for self-reliance.
Support women and youth by building their capacity in entrepreneurship and income generating to support their families.
Promote Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health, prevention and protection of HIV transmission among people in communities.
To work on health and sanitation and agriculture for the small farmers taking good hygienic practices.
